Originally published as a series of blog posts titled Technology in Modern Foreign Languages , this collection of articles explores how teachers are successfully incorporating the use of new technologies into their classroom practice with a focus on enhancing teaching and learning.

My most sincere thanks to each of the contributors to this collection of articles who have selflessly taken time out from their busy teaching jobs to collaborate in this project and share their experiences in using technology in the modern foreign languages classroom.

    Have you considered starting a thread on virtual worlds? Some schools, e.g. John Hanson School, are already using Second Life, but so far I am not aware of any school that is using it to teach MFL. See this Teachers TV video about John Hanson School:

  • Thanks for the great list. I'm going to use some of these resources in my EFL classes and to help me practice a few foreign languages on my own. Using images & Google image search really helped me with Japanese vocabulary.
