TeachMeet Midlands

TeachMeets are informal gatherings of teachers from all specialisms who are curious about enhancing teaching and learning using technology.

These events are organised all over the country by teachers for teachers with the aim of sharing real classroom practice and talking about the newest trends and tools.

TeachMeet Midlands is the next event in the calendar, taking place on Friday 15th May between 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm at the National College for School Leadership Conference Centre in Nottingham. Food and drink will be provided free of charge.

TeachMeets are free and often described by those attending as the best CPD event they have ever attended. Although TeachMeets are funded by the generosity of their sponsors, selling stuff is strictly forbidden: the focus is on sharing practice among fellow teachers. Come and share what you do or simply come to listen and enjoy a wonderful evening, the choice is yours!

Having attended previous TeachMeets in London, I can thoroughly recommend them to all teachers, whether they are already using lots of technology in their teaching or they are only starting to consider the possibilities; whether they are experts in the field or they are complete novices. This is the place to come, meet other teachers, share your experiences and learn lots.

If you are interested in attending, all you need to do is to sign up on the wiki. If you are not sure how to sign up or, indeed, don’t know what a wiki is please get in touch via the contact form in this website and I’ll do it for you.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
